Mohawk Inn and Conference Centre
Located at the north-west corner of Hwy #401 and the Guelph Line Exit, 20 minutes from the Toronto Airport, next to the famous newly renovated Mohawk Raceway & Slots Entertainment Facility. The Inn is centrally located and is within minutes of Milton, Guelph and Burlington. The historic Mohawk Country Inn & Conference Centre has a casual country atmosphere and 40 acres of natural setting.Featuring: 30 clean, comfortable rooms, cozy lounge, gift shop, business centre, full service dining room, a fabulous Sunday Brunch, the Fireside Lounge, outdoor patio, convention and meeting rooms, reception room, banquet hall and even The Tree House, a separate self contained - 7 room Hide-a-way in the woods with central lounge and fireplace to share with old and new family and friends. Perfect for out-of-town guests. The Mohawk Inn first opened its doors on June 3, 1967. The commemorative plaque above the entrance to the dining room was cut from the first tree felled when the land was being cleared. The decor chosen was early Colonial, and this theme has been carried on through the years. The bar dates back to 1840 and was taken from the old Half-Way House Hotel at Eden Mills. The beams in the ceilings are hand-hewn and the wagon wheels, which have a second life as lighting fixtures, are more than 100 years old. Old-fashioned antiques of every description are found throughout the Inn. The Inn provides overnight accommodation in either the main building or the unique Tree house. We also cater to meetings, banquets, conferences and weddings, and are most proud of the fine Country Inn dining. We hope you will enjoy your visit the hotel.
